Hi guys!

So with the recent pandemic, there are a lot of people in our DWRPer community in need of help. But not only that, there are a lot of DWRPers looking for ways to help but don't know how. This is a step towards working to solve that problem.

I've seen a lot of people either advertising that their commissions are open or are looking to pay artists for commission but don't know where to look. So this is a database to help link the two up. It's on google sheets, but don't worry, I'll be handling the actual spreadsheet work since while I can't draw- I do know my way around a spreadsheet.

If you become full on commissions or you close commissions, please let me know so I can make a note of that on the sheet!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO COMMISSION SOMEONE please contact the person you're commissioning for all payment and commission details! This is just a directory, I will not handle any transactions.

If there is a situation of an artist/writer not completing commissions and not updating folks on why there's a delay, please let me know and I will remove them from the directory until the situation is settled. On the other hand, if there's a situation of someone not paying commissioners for completed jobs, let me know and I'll figure out some way to warn folks (though I generally recommend asking for half or all of the money up front to avoid this issue).

That's it for now! Much like this situation in this world, things may change or evolve based on what's needed! I just wanted to start simple and see if we can get that running before expanding directory servers.

Info Page / Rates: JP > EN: $.075 per JP character. Usually submitted as an RTF file, but I can do other formats if that's a problem.
UEB Braille: $5 per braille page. Braille2000 B2K file, can make a BRF file. (If you want something very long done, like a book, we can discussion a lower price per page to make it more manageable.)

Average Wait Time: I usually work quite fast, but it depends a lot on what I'm being given. Sloppy handwriting might not even be do-able if I can't make it out, while clear print text of normal speech you can probably expect in a day or so, depending on the length of what I'm given.
I braille quite quickly as well.

Other: Questions are welcome. Quotes are generally based on a one/two page sample, so they are rough estimates. If you have a file of text I could give a more exact quote immediately, but usually people have images.
Transcription is included with every file.
Payment via Paypal. Amazon.com gift certificates are a possibility.
If you give me something lengthy and I haven't worked with you before, I will always do a small paid sample first.

Just an addition for the brialle: $5 is one or two pages, or particularly complex braille (say you have a ton of bubbles or something on your pages).

If you wanted a normal book done, then it would be more like $2 per page. There's some complex stuff to do at the beginning, but the rest is pretty straightforward transcription and is pretty easy.

So, $5 per page for short or complex projects
$2 per page for lengthy/straightforward projects

Ask if you aren't sure what your project would be!

Thanks for the update! Since that's pretty complicated to put in all one excel cell, I reworded it to be this.

- $.075 per JP character. Usually submitted as an RTF file, but I can do other formats if that's a problem.
- UEB Braille: $5 per braille page on short projects. Braille2000 B2K file, can make a BRF file. For something that's book length yet straightforward, it's $2 per page (For more complicated projects, we can have a discussion about a fair price)
